The Hollywood Farms project overlays the farm on top of the urban fabric as an additional infrastructure. In order to do so, we are using hydroponics agriculture and vertical farming. This farm allows a much more sustainable form of farming; high yields year round, less CO2 emissions and in a fraction of the equivalent land used in conventional farming. The farm’s unique location, Hollywood, LA, is an opportunity to brand urban farming as a desirable concept, and thus welcome it into cities around the world.
