Stemming from our research work on the urban farm, we developed the Farm Box, an autonomous, self contained hydroponic farming unit. It can yield crops equal to what can be grown in the backyard of a typical house in California if fully utilized, and feed up to eleven people. We designed, detailed and built a fully-operational prototype. The Farm Box is a provisional patent in the US.
