Architecture competition  

 

In collaboration with arch. Sharon ayalon an arch. Guy Margalit. 

 

The project is a competition entry to design a memorial building+redesign the existing memorial grove n Ramat Yishay, Israel. Program consists of a library, a memorial room, and multi-purpose classes. In order to preserve the existing grove, planted in the memory of the sons of the Ramat-Yishay, we’ve created a bridge-like building that touches the ground as little as possible. The building frames the memorial stone, making it a focal point. The park has been re-designed too, to become more inviting. The library is accessible both from the street and from the garden. The cafe is on the garden level.
